Personal – 2014

I really haven’t had time to post a lot of my photographic work from 2013 and 2014, so I’m going to make an effort from now on to do so. To sum up 2014 with one word, I would say “blessed”. I never take for granted for those around me, and I’m just blessed how they mold me into the person I am today. Friends and families, near and afar, thank you.

I joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas in 2007 and was matched up with Cristian. The first picture was taken at Cristian’s 5th grade graduation at Becker Elementary, and the last at his graduation from Travis High in 2014.  Our journey with BBBS has come to an end when Cristian graduated, but our brotherhood continues on. He’s currently attending UT San Antonio with an interest in Engineering.  Smart kid, but if you ask him, I beat him in basketball any day, on the court and in video games, although he would likely shakes his head in disagreement.

And then there’s me and the missus getting hitched. We took a 3 week vacation and travelled through Munich (Germany), Prague (Czech Republic), Vienna (Austria), Athens (Greece), Santorini (Greece), Paris (France), and concluded in New York City. Our nuptial took place in Santorini, which I found out later is like a dream place for most women.

This is where we stayed in Santorini. The owner was gracious enough to let us tie our knot there without letting her know in advance. Not a bad place to exchange our vow, ehhh?
