BBBS – Leadership Circle Reception

I was asked last Tuesday to photograph a Big Brothers Big Sisters reception for some of the top donors and Bigs of the year. As a Big for the last 4 years, I’ve experienced first hand many wonderful things this organization has done to improve the kids’ lives. This past June, BBBS awarded 113 graduating seniors with $226,000 in scholarship funds toward their college education (link). My Little Bro, Cristian, was given a $2,000 Promise Scholarship for college when he graduates high school in 2013. Had it not been for these generous donors, it’s hard to say if BBBS is the same like today. And congrats to 2011 Bigs of the year, Tommy Fad and Megan Felker! Enjoy the pics!
