This was my first official photo shoot, and I was pretty excited, at the same time, nervous. There’s this expectation you have to meet when you get paid to do something versus doing it for fun, and I felt it. Jenesis is my co-worker’s daughter, and she’s really photogenic. Initially, I started taking pictures in their front yard, but within 10 minutes, the sun was scorching and we definitely felt the summer’s heat. We then moved to Jenesis’ playroom. All of the pictures taken are candid, even with this one below. I just caught it in time when she was laying down. At this point, I haven’t bought the external flash yet, so I was forced to use the built in flash. In some of the pictures, you can see the shadow on the wall. Oh well, gotta work with what you have, right? Pics turned out not too shabby.
